Composite Resource Repository Columns (Magic xpa 3.x)
The Composite Resource Repository has the following columns:

An internally generated number. The icon next to the number indicates that an error occurred when loading the component. If you place the cursor over the icon, an error message will appear.

Name
|
For Magic xpa components: The component name, as listed in the Magic xpa Component Interface (ECI) file.
If you zoom (F5) from the Name column:

If a component was not selected, A file dialog box will open, allowing you to select the component interface file (ECI).

If a component was already loaded, its Magic xpa Component Items will be shown.
For .NET components: The .NET assembly name. If the name is greater than 30 characters it is truncated. If you zoom (F5) from the Name column:

If a component was not selected, the . NET Assembly Selection dialog box opens.

If a component was already loaded, its property sheet opens.
For WCF components: The WCF name.

If a component was not selected, the Endpoint URL box opens. In this box, enter the service endpoint URL that the Web services step calls. For example, http://localhost/AsymEncryptPolicyService/AsymEncryptService.asmx

If a component was already loaded, the WCF Component Properties dialog box opens.

Description

For Magic xpa components: Additional component information provided in the ECI file.
For .NET components: Full Assembly name.

You can select one of the following types:
You can only access this field when no component/assembly was selected.

Folder
|
Specifies the folder in which the component entry is located.
|
.NET Aliases button
|
Click this button to open the .NET Alias dialog box. This button is enabled when the CRR contains at least one reference to a .NET assembly.

Note:

You access the component properties by pressing Alt+Enter on a component.
Assemblies defined in a Magic xpa component will not be available in the host project. This means that if the component exposes a model or a program parameter of a .NET type, you have to add a reference to this assembly as well.

.NET Assembly Properties
