Call Flow Properties (Magic xpi 3.x)
When you map data to a Call Flow Destination, you pass parameters that are used to call a new flow. In the Call Flow Destination Properties dialog box, you must indicate the flow that is to be called when you map data to this Destination.
Note:
-
Call Flow can only be used as a Destination.
-
Call Flow is very similar to Invoke Flow, but it is used within the Data Mapper.
The Call Flow Destination Properties dialog box has the following properties:
Name
Enter a name for the schema.
Description
Enter a description for the schema.
Flow Name
Click to open the Flow List. Select a flow and then click Select.
Variables for a called flow are entered as simple members of the call flow compound in the Data Mapper. This lets you map Source elements in the data Source to individual Call variables. The Data Mapper updates the mapped variables before calling the flow.
UDS type variables are also supported as long as both the Source and Destination variables contain the same UDS structure. (Since version: V3 SP1)
