Database Definition
|
By default, the Internal Database Details are set by the local internal database definition. The user can select a different (remote) internal database using this combo box, which displays all database resources defined in the Settings dialog box's Resources section.
|
The user cannot attach to a remote Server that has an internal database that is a different type than the local internal database.
|
|
If the defined project is not running, the "Unable to attach to defined project" error message is displayed.
-
The Validate button allows the user to test the connection to the selected remote database.
-
Clicking the Cancel button cancels the debug process and the changes made in the Attach to Project dialog box. After the changes are cancelled, the process uses the previous definitions.
|
-
Using the Attach to Project option will attach the debugger to the already running Magic xpi project using the Debug_Info.xml file and will not re-deploying the project.
-
To save the changes made to this dialog box, the user must select the Save Debug Information check box in the Debugger Settings dialog box.
-
Attaching to Project option will not be supported for the projects running on the cloud. (Since version: 4.9)
