Description

User Password - Database Properties (Magic xpa 4.x)

Use this property to specify a User Password recognized by the host security system where the file accessed by this database entry resides. A secret name can be used for this setting, because the User Name setting is kept in the unprotected Magic.ini file.

The User Password should not contain a comma (,).

This property is optional.

Windows authentication:

SQL Server: The user name and password should remain blank.

Oracle: The user name should be a forward slash (/) and the password should remain blank.
