Server Properties (Magic xpa 4.x)
The Server Properties dialog box includes the following properties:

User Name
|
Defines the unique name of the server. This property is optional.
|
|
Password
|
The password associated with the user name when a request is sent for a particular Magic xpa application. This property is optional.

Timeout
|
This Timeout property has the same meaning as the BrokerTimeout of the Mgreq.ini file and overrides it when executing a remote call from the engine.

Alternate Server
|
The name of an alternate server that Magic xpa can use if the current server is unavailable. This property is optional.
This property is not supported for Magic xpi servers.

|
Communication Manager
|
This property is no longer supported. It was used when the engine interacted with data servers using the communication gateways.
|
This dialog box is only available for the Magic Requests Broker.
