Retrieving the Host ID for Server Licenses (Magic xpa 2.x)

For Windows platforms:

Open a Windows command prompt and type in the following command:

Lmutil lmhostid

The output should be similar to the one below:

lmutil - copyright (c) ...

The FLEXlm host ID of this machine is "..."

The host ID you are looking for is the first string inside the double quotes.

For UNIX platforms:

1. Login to the Magic administrator user.

2. Type in the following command:

Lmutil lmhostid

The output should be similar to the one below:

lmutil - copyright (c) ...
