Requirements and Setup (Magic xpa 2.x)
To install Magic xpa, you must have at least a 1.8 GHz processor (recommended: Dual-core, 2.66-GHz or faster) with 4GB of RAM. Runtime usage might require greater computer resources, depending on the running application. The Windows® operating system should be one of the operating systems as described in the Compatibility Guide.
Note: Administrator access level is required.
Each time you run the Magic xpa Setup program, you can modify, repair, or remove your existing Magic xpa installation.
To run Online, Rich Client and Browser Client programs, you must have .NET Framework V2.0 SP2 (or above) installed on your machine.
When using .NET Framework V2.0 SP2, you also need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable. You can install them by running the NetFx20SP2_x86.exe and VCRedist_x86.exe files from the Scripts\RIA folder.
If you are planning on using the Rich Client capabilities of Magic xpa, make sure that you also have IIS installed on your computer before installing Magic xpa.
