Opening a New Project (Magic xpi 4.1)

When you open a new project, through either the File menu or the toolbar button, the New Project dialog box opens.

You should enter the name of your project in the Project name field. To work with Version Control, you should select the Create project in Source Control database option. If you do not select this option at this stage, you can enable Version Control later on by selecting Add project to source control from the Source Control options in the File menu.

When you select the Create project in Source Control database option, the basis for a new project is created in the Magic xpi Studio. Simultaneously, a new project is created in the Version Control server, automatically setting the working folder to the project's folder and sources.

If you want to set the Project Properties, you should make sure that the project has been checked out first.
