OPC UA Resource (Magic xpi 4.13)
 
OPCUA resources contain the following parameters (The parameters in bold are mandatory):

 Server 
 | 
 Enter the required OPC Server address or click   to open the Environment Variables List. Here, you can select an environment variable to use as a server address.

 Channel 
 | 
 Enter the OPC channel name or click   to open the Environment Variables List. Here, you can select an environment variable to use as a channel. 
When the channel node is successfully retrieved from the server, the resource is validated. 
 |

 Authentication Needed 
 | 
 This is a combo-box with default value set to False. Set the value to True from the drop-down menu to authenticate the resource. 
 | 
| 
 Username 
 | 
 The username value required to perform the authentication operation with the OPC server. 
This field is available when the Authentication Needed parameter is set to True. 
 | 
| 
 Password 
 | 
 The password value required to perform the authentication operation with the OPC server. 
This field is available when the Authentication Needed parameter is set to True. 
 |

 Use Secure Connection 
 | 
 This is a combo-box with default value set to False. Set the value to True from the drop-down menu to use the secure connection for the resource. 
 |

 Server Certificate 
 | 
 The Server Certificate for performing the secure connection. 
This field is available when the Use Secure Connection parameter is set to True. 
 |

 Client Certificate 
 | 
 The Client Certificate for performing the secure connection. 
This field is available when the Use Secure Connection parameter is set to True.

 Password to Client Certificate 
 | 
 The password to the Client Certificate. This field is available when the Use Secure Connection parameter is set to True.

OPC UA resources also give you the following button:

 Validate 
 | 
 Click this button to verify that the connection to the OPC server is valid. You will receive a message indicating that the connection is established, or an error message if the connection failed.
