MQTT Services (Magic xpi 4.13)
MQTT services contain the following parameters (parameters in bold are mandatory):

MQTT Resource
|
Select an MQTT resource from the drop-down list.
|
|
You should make sure that you have already configured an MQTT resource in the Settings dialog box's Resources section before you try to configure your MQTT service.

|
Client ID
|
The client ID. This is used by the server to store data related to the client, so it must remain the same when connecting to a server if durable subscriptions or reliable messaging are required.
|
MQTT services also give you the following button:

Generate ID
|
Click this button to generate a unique client ID. This client ID will automatically populate the Client ID parameter (above). If a client ID already exists in the Client ID parameter, you you will be prompted that you are about to overwrite it.
