Installing the Magic xpa API Interface Environment (Magic xpa 3.x)

This is a stand-alone API installation product and its installation is the same as the Magic xpa installation.

To install the Magic xpa API interface environment:

• Run the MfObjTrf.exe file in order to transfer the product to IBM i and install it.

The parameters are:

• IBM i Destination Library: MGRQTOOL

• install on IBM i: OS i 6.1, OS i 7.1, or OS i 7.2

• IBM i User

• User id: Valid IBM i User with QSECOFR privilege

• Password

• IBM i TCP/IP Address or Host Name

• PC Client Code Page: for example 1252

The library name should be 10 characters long, and it should not exist on the target IBM i.
