How Do I Generate a Web Client Application? (Magic xpa 4.x)

To generate a Web Client application, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Web option of the Menu bar.

  2. Click on Generate Web Application. This opens Generate Web Application dialog box as shown below:

3. Select any option(s) from the Project Group:

  • Create Route map to create a routing map.

  • Copy Images to copy the image files that are assigned to Controls and/or forms. These files are copies from the Source Images Folder to assets\images folder in the generated application.

4. Select an option from the Programs group.

  • None if you don't want to select any program(s).

  • Selected to select a program from the list of all programs that are displayed along with their respective folders. You can select multiple programs and filter the list folder-wise.

  • All to select all Web Client programs to generate the Web Application.

5. Selected Programs List

Once you select the programs, you get to see the list of selected programs in this list box.

6. Click on Generate button. Your application will be generated at the Web Application Folder that you specified in the Web

Generation Settings.

7. Click on Cancel to cancel the generation process.
