Description

Data Mapper Validation (Magic xpi 4.5)

The Data Mapper performs validation checks in the following areas:

  • When opening the Data Mapper, the validation procedure checks that:

    • There is no mismatch in connection data types.

    • There are no schema parsing problems or missing XML schemas.

    • The Source and Destination data definitions are valid.

    • The UDS model and ODS definitions are valid.

    • Database tables exist.

    • There are no empty or missing exception flows.

    • There are no position forwarding problems.

    • There are no unsupported or unknown data types.

    • The selected root exists in the relevant schema.

  • During the operation of the Checker, the validation procedure looks for:

    • Invalid expressions.

    • Invalid conditions.

    • Invalid updates to Data Mapper nodes.
