Returns the arc cosine value of a number, in radians.

Syntax:

ACOS (numeric)

Parameters:

numeric – A number between -1 and 1.

Returns:

Number (radians)

Example:

Where x=1 and y=0.5, ACOS(x-y) returns 1.04719755
